befriend the communicators of vibration

Did you know the Cherokee believe trees to be great communicators of vibration between all things living on the Earth and the Stars?  The White Pine in particular is held very sacred in the Cherokee culture.  They believe it communicates deep vibrations from the Earth into the atmosphere where we become entrained to those sacred vibrations.  They believe the White Pine is a symbol of life and that it can transmute aggression to peace.  I say we call on these pine trees and all trees to aid the Earth and its people to move toward peace. Our beautiful planet Earth is a network of meridians and grids that mirror our physical body. Everything-- plants, trees, seeds, water, people, dogs, insects, radishes have a system of lines of energy--meridians, channels, centers, grids and points of connection and flow.  It is these systems or networks of energy that allow subtle (and powerful) forms of vibration to communicate within and between all things. I love thinking of trees as transmitters of vibration between the Earth, Stars and Us.  So beautiful.  And if you look at the very top of pine trees...they do look like antenna! The Cherokee also have a knowledge of their physical energy system.  They believe that many of the energies flow through their navel.  Sound being a major energy that begins it all.  First there is sound before anything comes into being.  From emptiness to sound.    All of your intentions begin this way.  When you first have an intention--it is super important to state it out loud.  Then gain knowledge around it (wisdom)  and from wisdom to love...or action as I would put it.  You go for it! Possibly we can state our intention for a movement to peace to the trees, calling on them for their assistance in transmitting [...]

a dramatic way of seeing

Just up the road from my house is a shuttered stark barren house. No signs of the past, no hope of the future. Just there. A form without a purpose. Even the yard around it shows no signs of the people or life that happened there. There’s no lingering laughter of the 5th birthday party under the grand tree. The swing set has long been retired. The smells of roast chicken and mashed potatoes with gravy have long dissipated. But does this actually seeing was has come before have to influence the present. What if you saw the potential that is everywhere? What if, by opening up those shuttered windows and shining a new light on what is there you could jump into a new way of being? You’ve been bogged down and thinking it was another way instead of opening up and perceiving with new sight what could be. SEE what you hope for, what can be, what is available, what is there and always has been. It is not that things outside of change. It is what is inside of us and how we see it that changes. You know- you know…you do! Right now –that more is out there. You sense it. You feel it. Sometimes you feel it right down to your bones. You want to connect with that. Sometimes you get close. And right now you feel like it is time to break through and really see what it is that you want. You have this dream, this wish--to change, to be, to do, and to connect. I once felt like I was in that shuttered house. But--I saw it as a beautiful house. I felt like it was sturdy. I felt like it was solid. I didn’t realize the windows were shuttered. I wasn’t [...]

Are you one of those gas station hot dogs–endlessly rolling…?

Sometimes when a client comes to me-they don't quite have words to describe what or how they are feeling.   So, I was thinking about this today, and you know me and my food obsession (see my 'Year Ahead Workbook' free gift)...so I thought-- what if I asked them to tell me what kinda food or dish they felt like? Of course, I then thought-- What kinda dish do I feel like right now? Not to eat mind you, but the energy of it, the way it makes you feel, the actions to prepare, the flavors, the culture....etc. I decided I feel like a warm comforting bowl of nurturing chicken noodle soup. I feel pretty content, healthy, satisfied, balanced and warm.  So, awesome! But what if you are not feeling awesome?  What if you feel like a frozen microwave dinner? A cold slice of leftover pizza?  A hot dog rolling around endlessly in a hot box...going no where and under stress? I know some exercises, tools and tricks. I have days where I can feel a less than nurtured and comforted--just like you. I learned these tools and ways to easily access them anywhere, anytime. You can do it too! Learning to get back to your center, to be grounded, to feel supported, to know that it is there and how to access it... = p r i c e l e s s I learned to do visualizations to engage my energy system (chakras).  I learned to ground and center using the same techniques.  The more you do them (10-20 minutes a day)  the more easily and instantly you call on them when you really need to get off those hot rollers! These exercises and the knowing of your energy system is not difficult.  All it takes is frequent exercise [...]

Sit down and dream it out into the world

I am so eager to sit down with the ‘Handcraft Your Year’ 2015 workbook/planner. I was reviewing it, as I haven’t had the time with all the holiday bustle to have a spot of time to dedicate to it. Exciting. I love the project. It is like a craft day, a dream day…a creation day. Love it! I am going to turn on some inspiring and beautiful music, brew some tea and get cozy in front of the fire. Staring at the flames for inspiration and ideas. Dreaming and scheming my 2015 into being. It all has to start somewhere, right? I have last year’s workbook and was looking through it. I did pretty darn well with all the plans and designs for year. Yeah, me! Laying it all down at the beginning of the year is awesome. You have this road map for what it may look like. I take a gander at it at times during the year and see if I am still on track or if I need to adjust. Or sometimes the plan has taken a grand leap. It did last year…but it was still in the realm of my ultimate plan…I just pushed it a little closer (and bigger) into the real world. I love to use color pencils and doodle in mine.  I love to make a vision map (there is one included for you) and set my goals –yearly, daily and monthly. All this is sketched out and provided for you to play and plan with. In the workbook there are questions that are thought provoking and let you reflect on last year and then create and design and dream about the year ahead. It is super fun! There is a section for monthly goals, a color vision map suitable for display, [...]
